Privacy Policy

Your Privacy Matters.

I a lot care about my own personal online privacy, and you should too. In light of that, I want to earn your trust and ensure the safety of your information while you use this site and the Service(s) as a whole. This page lays out how I do that.

To Repeat, Privacy is Really Important

When you use the Service as defined and outlined in our Terms and Conditions, you are consenting to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage, disclosure, and other uses of your information as set out in this Privacy Policy. Now, to be perfectly transparent, as of the time this privacy policy was written, ChrisBolman.com collects virtually no personally identifiable information about its visitors other than your email address if you choose to subscribe to my newsletter. Nonetheless, please read this privacy policy carefully to understand how your information is being protected now, and please check back regularly as this policy may change as new features and Content are added to ChrisBolman.com.

I Can Modify the Terms of this Agreement Whenever I Want (Even Though I Probably Won't)

I have the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a revised Policy. Changes become effective as soon as I post them. If I, in my sole discretion, determine that the changes are material, I will notify you via email (assuming I have your email) to the email address I have on file (again, if you provided one).

What This Privacy Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy covers how your information is managed and gathered when you use the Service. This Privacy Policy also covers any information that partners share with the Service or that I share with any of my partners.

Importantly, this Privacy Policy only applies to me and my Agents. It does not apply to people who aren't me -- i.e., anything I don't own, control or employ.

When I look at potential partners, I definitely consider their reputation, integration and privacy practices, and try to facilitate access only to third party services that share my commitment to protecting your privacy. That said, I'm only human, and I can’t, and don’t, take responsibility for anyone else’s privacy policies and practices. To protect yourself, you should also carefully review the privacy policies of any other services you access.

Data and Information I Collect

When you visit my site, I collect Non-Personally Identifiable Information such as your browser type, location and IP address. In order to offer you helpful services and informative content, I may collect Personally Identifiable Information about you from the following sources:

At the end of the day, I only collect information on ChrisBolman.com in order to understand who's visiting, who's engaging with my content, who would like me to share content with them, and how I can make the site experience better. I don't collect data for any other reasons, and I intend things to stay that way.

Keeping Your Data Safe

I take reasonable precautions to protect your private information and honor your privacy. I unfortunately cannot, however, guarantee the security of any and all information gathered by the Service. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of user information at any time. It’s important for you to prevent unauthorized access to your accounts and personal information by choosing and protecting a strong third party service password and by limiting access to your computer and browser by signing off after you have finished using the Service.
